UHO Homework #1
Above is a thread cutting nut. I came across this UHO
looking through the “hard-to-find” bin in Lowes Hardware. I asked a gentleman
in the store what the purpose of the item was, he explained to me that it is
used to cut screw threads into soft metal such as aluminum in order to create
custom screws. It can also be used to
clean grunge out of machine screws for smoother threading and a tighter seal.
